Construction of Rearing Sheds

Introduction

Silkworm Rearing is a complete indoor activity which requires optimal rearing conditions with specified humidity, temperature and well maintained hygienic conditions. In order to ensure these facilities, a separate rearing shed is required. The high cost for construction of rearing shed is causing financial burden on deprived SC and S.T sericulture farmers.
In view of the above, to assist the SC and ST farmers for taking up Sericulture activity, the scheme is provided to continue under SCC and STC with 90% financial assistance as detailed below.
